Finnish Championship opens up for any open rider

Earlier this spring we revealed that the Finnish PRO 450 Championship is open to any nationality to attend. But now the Finnish Federation will go even further open this Championship to all kinds of bikes included in the Finnish rulebook.

During the Kauhajoki round of Viking cup, the second round of the Finnish Championship will be included in the Pro Open Class. The former rules required a 450 MX-bike to be part of the Finnish Championship though, but to make it more interesting for anyone who would like to have shot of the Finnish titles the Federation now decided that anyone participating in the Pro Open class can aim for the exclusive medals.

The first round of the Finnish flat track Championship will be held during the Speedway Longtrack Championship in Tampere just a couple of weeks before the double header of Viking Cup 6-8 of June. This inclusion of other bikes certainly show the good will from the Finnish Federation to let the sport of Flat track grow in a positive direction.
