Participants of Finnish Championship
Are you aiming on conquer the Finns in their own Championship? This year the Finnish Federation opens up to any rider and any bike skilled as a pro rider to go for the medals.
First round of the Finnish championship in Tampere will be a long track normally used for horse racing and along with The Finnish championship of Speedway longtrack the event offers one round of the flat track championship as well as an open pro class. Entry cost of Tampere will be 60 Euro and thats including entering tyhe Finnish Championship. Registration for Tampere opens April 24 and for non Finnish riders you enter bu sending a mail to jyrki.viitanen56@gmail.com. Hosting club for round 1 is Hämeen Moottorikerho ry.
The second round of the Finnish Championship will be held at the second round of pur own Viking Flat Track cup in Kauhajoki June 8. This round also offer a long track, 600 meters speedway track. The Finnish Championship round will be ran togheter with the Open Pro class and offers any Pro level rider to enter no matter what bike she or he is racing. We can think of at leats two handful of Swedish and Norweigan riders who are able to challenge at least some of the Finns. To enter the second round of Viking Cup you register as usual at https://theevilmonkey.se/produkt-kategori/event/ and if you wanna have a go against the Finns you alsoi have to send a mail to ville.j.pihlaja@gmail.com whos the representative of hosting club Kauhajoen Moottorikerho ry. To enter the Finnish Championship as well there will be an additional cost of 40 Euros due to administration. The round of the Finnish Championship will follow the schedule of Viking cup and the Pro Open class.
